Have you ever thought about what your funeral would be like? I have. Don't get me wrong, despite too many bad habits I don't actually plan on actually passing away, but if the death thing actually catches up with me I have some plans (think viking-style funersal with a gameshow twist). But I'm also really curious what people would say about me.
Thanks to CouchSurfing I don't have to wonder so much about the eulogy that I'll never hear. CS members have the opportunity to take the CouchSurfing profile but if you do you'll see what I'm talking about. I have 300+ "friends" on there (I absolutely only add someone if I've met them "in real life") and more than a hundred or so personal references (an extra, optional step). Some of them are pretty basic like "We had some nice conversations" and many of them go into much greater detail, like "...random-meant-to-be meetings on the streets of SF. And then all of a sudden we were living together in the southern hemisphere..."
See for yourself. Here's the direct link: http://www.couchsurfing.com/profile.html?id=SHNP&all_friends=1

Hey! One year since the St-Jean-Baptiste in Québec. I was just passing by to say hello ;)
