I almost forgot to talk about last Sunday.
I was in Copenhagen and it seemed that every day in Copenhagen was overall wonderful. I met a lot of great people who went out of their way to ensure my stay in their city was a pleasant one. Sunday and Soren were no exceptions.
We started the day by driving up to Helsingor on the northwest coast of the island of Fyn Sjælland (someone please correct me if I named the wrong island - i´m far too lazy right now to dig out my map thanks for the correction) that Copenhagen is on. The drive was right up the coastline and very beautiful. Once we reached the end of the road there was a huge castle on the shores of the North Sea (again - correct me if I´m wrong). We had a picnic and watched the ferries go by between Denmark and Sweden. I could see Sweden in the not-so-far distance so I snapped a picture. There - I´ve seen Sweden. That will have to do for now.
After lunch we visited the castle that I had just learned during the tour that it was the one that inspired Shakespear to write Hamlet. Apparently there was a story of a similar history that took place within those castle walls. Cooooool.
From there we headed back towards Copenhagen and stopped off at his parent´s house for dinner. His family was just as nice as he was. We had a great dinner of traditional Danish food and talked for quite a while. His father owns a large greenhouse and I got the grand tour. It was a fun day.

The name of the island is not Fyn but Sjælland.
