Missouri loves company
I'm awake, showered, and dressed before 6am for the first time in months and i'm not happy about it. Dressed in my cleanest clothes (which really isn't saying all that much since the last time i saw a washing machine was a week ago) i just got the news that i can go back to bed. The Blues were sold.
This morning I find myself awake in the Gateway of the West before the sun has even made an appearance (so THAT's what time it comes up...) waiting for a news truck. Fox 2 wanted to interview me and the bleary-eyed couple I'm staying with this morning for a story they are doing on CouchSurfing. The plan was to do a live crosstalk with the cheery anchors in the studio from the couch I'm crashing. We should be on the air right at this moment. Instead I'm typing away to you all while the sun slowly says good morning through the window. We just received word that Fox isn't coming because of "breaking news". The local hockey team was sold. And how does this take precedence over a guy sleeping on a couch?
So I'm off to sleep. Again. Fortunately my "couch" is in a room with no windows.
